PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS

TRI VALEEY YOUTH SYMPHONY (TVYS) is the Premier Orchestra of Tri Valley Youth Orchestra.  Students will rehearse and perform challenging and monumental orchestral works by great composers from various periods.  As members of the advanced orchestra, students will also be assigned to small chamber groups wherein they will assume leadership role, build teamwork and communicative skills, and diversify their musical experience through a wider range of repertoire.  As students are held to a higher standard, they will receive intensive training by professional musicians, as well as attend master classes presented by leading musicians in the Bay Area.
